Web cleaning of cardboard, paper and film plays a significant role in the converting, the paper and printing industry. Even the smallest particles are removed from both sides of paper and cardboard webs as well as plastic films at high web speeds, with consistently high cleaning quality. In addition to cardboard packaging lines, these cleaning systems are suitable for a variety of applications and can be flexibly adapted to the respective production conditions. The Sword Brush® wipes across the transport direction and is available in working widths ranging from 400 mm to over 3,000 mm. This makes it ideally suited for the continuous cleaning of various web materials. The wiping-based cleaning units can also be combined with non-contact air-based cleaning systems. This ensures that particles are reliably removed and supports stable production processes even at high operating speeds. The innovative Boundary Layer Activation Method (BLAM) allows a new level of cleanliness. Existing machines may be updated with this feature.
