Data protection information according to Article 13 and Article 21 of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

Please be aware of the following information pursuant to Article 13 of the GDPR regarding the processing of your personal data and pursuant to Article 21 of the GDPR regarding your rights as set down in the data protection regulations.

2. Your personal data are processed for the following purposes and on the following legal basis:

  • in order to close a contract and to fulfill our contractual obligations to you in accordance with Article 6, Para. 1 b) of the GDPR
  • for the pursuit of our legitimate interests such as complying with our duties and exercising our rights under a contract for the sale of goods to you, the client.
  • we use your personal data exclusively with your consent, for promoting, marketing and advertising our products. You have the right to revoke your consent to the processing of your data for marketing purposes at any time.

Right to object in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR:
For reasons relating to your particular situation, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data in accordance with Article 6, Para. 1 f) GDPR, including the data collection legally based on these provisions. In this case, we will no longer process your personal data unless we have legitimate reasons for doing so which outweigh your legitimate interests or where further processing serves to assist the exercise or defence of legal claims.
You have the right to withdraw consent at any time to the processing of your data for the purpose of promoting or advertising our products and services and for sending you promotional communication in the form of newsletters. After consent is withdrawn, we will cease to process your personal data for these purposes.

You can also unsubscribe from marketing emails by using the “Unsubscribe” link in our newsletter or by deactivating the option “Subscribe to our newsletter” in the “My account” section.

3. The following personal data may be collected:

  • name
  • address
  • e-mail address
  • telephone numbers
  • client reference number
  • delivery reference number
  • payment information
  • accounting data

We share your personal data with the relevant departments within our company which require access to such data in order to fulfill our contractual obligations. Furthermore, we may also share your information with any public body or authority if we are obliged to do so to comply with legal regulations.

4. Transfer of your data to a third country outside the EU

We will not normally transfer your data to a country outside of the EU. This may occur, however, in order to handle your order or deliver products and services to you, when service providers are located in a third country. In this case they are obliged to apply appropriate data protection in accordance with the EU GDPR.

5. Erasure of your data:

Any data relating to you will be deleted after the fulfillment of our contractual obligations as well as the expiry of the legal retention period.

6. Your data protection rights:

  • the right of access, the right to rectification, the right to erasure, the right to the restriction of processing and the right to data portability (Articles 15 - 22 GDPR).   • the right to revocation of consent to the processing of personal data pursuant to Article 6, Para. 1 f) GDPR
    (Article 13, Para. 2b) in connection with Article 21 GDPR.
  • the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority if you have reason to believe that the processing of your personal data violates legal requirements (according to Article 77 GDPR).
